Back in the eighties, 1986 to be precise, a group of 4 tourism graduate students, with a strong passion for travel and tourism, started off by arranging tour packages and vehicles for a few personally known customers. In the early nineties, they got real serious about the idea and started it off as a career, and thus set up an office with just a table and chair space and a telephone in a thatched roof structure in one of the remotest parts of Chennai. A logo was to be created and so, they picked the Indian National Flower – Lotus, as the logo and named the company ‘Lotus Tours & Travels'. |

From there we have gone a long way and even changed the name of the company to LOTUS INDIA HOLIDAYS, and it has grown steadily only through word of mouth and many of our travelers have returned to us for another trip, and recommended us to their friends. For the last 20 Years, we have provided efficient and timely service to over quarter of a million customers, thereby becoming one of the most trusted names in the tourism sector in South India . |
